Casa Sonora

Five of us spent 3 nights in November during the Shrimp Festival. The house is new and spotless and very comfortable and has all the amenities. Most importantly, we all thought the beds were extremely comfortable. The owner checked in with us and brought us firewood which we used that night in the firepit on the rooftop deck. The rooftop deck has incredible views of both the mountains and the ocean. We took the short walk to the beach everyday. The next time we go to San Felipe we will stay in Casa Sonora.

Casa Sonora was a great place to stay. Everything was there for us. There was even propane provided for the grill. The house is very spacious and the roof top patio is awesome. It was kinda tricky to find if you don't pay attention to the signs, especially in the dark. The view of the Sea was beautiful from the roof top. The beach is very clean in this area. Quiet neighbors and also very friendly. Not far away from town. I can't wait until my next trip!! Awesome house with great amenties! 5 Stars! :)

My family and I stayed at Casa Sonora for a relaxing funfilled weekend, and absolutely loved it. The house is beautiful... We had enough room for all 10 of us. The kids even had enough room to play. The private beach felt like paradise, not to mention the private pool. We were able to spend time at the pool without worrying about a thing. I felt very safe at La Hacienda and it is well taken care of. My family and I have decided to take a yearly trip to San Felipe to enjoy Casa Sonora and the Sea of Cortez. Thank You, Randy. We really loved it.

We stayed at Casa Sonora during the 2008 Baja 250 Race. We loved the location as it is still close to town but still far enough away for peace and quiet. The neighborhood is great and very safe. The beach is a short walking distance and was wonderful. We were very happy with the house as it was very clean and well maintained, the beds were very comfortable, the kitcehn was well stocked, the rooftop deck was wonderful with amazing views. We spent some time around the fire and BBQ'd on the deck. We will surely stay here again and look forward to coming back again this year.

We stayed at Casa Baja for a week in November. Having such a great experience we came back for two months...enjoying both the Baja and the Sonora. The Sonora is a spacious home with luxury amenities. Tons of room and a quick walk to the beach! Grand rooftop views. The kitchen applicances are top of the line but you will want to BBQ alot and enjoy the rooftop fireplace. Truly devine!! We hope to return with all the grandkids and their toys..plenty of room for everyone. Thanks again to Arturo, resident Property Manager who was at our beck and call. Casa Baja

We wanted a restful place to relax and unwind and Casa Baja provided more than we could have imagined. Our goal of heading to San Felipe was to be in a comfortable house in a beautiful area away from tourist activities and the urban hustle. When we weren't out biking, or hiking in the dunes, or on the beach, we were enjoying Casa Baja to the fullest. We enjoyed every part of the house. It was a luxuriously spacious abode for 2 people. The fresh fish and shrimp from the nearby marina were beyond compare. We cooked almost every meal, and the water filters in the kitchen and on the roof were a huge advantage. Being able to drink from the tap made things a lot easier, not to mention all the plastic water bottles we didn't have to consume. We also made good use of the living room fireplace, and both the dvd and cd players for evening entertainment. The roof deck was our favorite afternoon hangout spot, for reading or just gazing at the mountains and sea. The dunes were beautiful to walk through as well as just look at from up high. It's an amazing area, and again we thank your for providing such a nice spot to call home for the week. And a special thanks to Arturo and his family for helping us feel so welcome.

My wife, 2 kids, pet, and myself stayed in Casa Baja for 5 days and could not have picked a better place in all of San Felipe. The location is in a very nice setting and the view from the rooftop is unexplainable when you actually are standing there. The pool which is within 50 steps of the front door is large and very clean. The host was very attentative while we were there and if we needed anything we had it immediately. For the price you can not find a better location with this amount of room anywhere. The house is decorated to fit the location and beds were very comfortable. We were within a short stroll down to the most unbelievable beach I have ever been on. We were the only ones on the beach all 5 days there. We will definately be going back to San Felipe and without a doubt to Casa Baja.

wow! thank you so much. everything was AMAZING! really the house, the location, the heat was intense but still so nice and the pool and beach more than made up for it. My 3 year old is now officially a fearless swimmer thanks to the great pool and beach conditions. we met a lot of the locals, and cannot begin to tell you how wonderful they all were. so helpful, we found the best taco stands and beaches thanks to all of these great people. the roof top was my favorite spot to watch the sunrise. so much peace. and not to mention the great grill. im sure you'll find that everything was well taken care of. maybe a little more sand here and there but over all. we took great care of your beautiful home. we are looking forward to next year. thanks again randy and shelli. talk to you soon

WOW! I think this is the best house, on the best street, in San Felipe. Just far enough outside of town to be quiet, and close enough to go into town and enjoy. The absolute best was BBQing shrimp on the roof, under the stars. Randy, the owner, was very responsive to our questions, and Arturo (property manager) was very responsive to our needs. We spent three weeks and their saying is right--"no bad days."

Casa Monterrey

Randy and Shelli- Your place was extremely hospitable! It was perfectly suited for my purpose of stay, the Baja 1000. The two car garage had ample room for all of the toys, tools and miscellaneous stuff we brought. The house itself was beautiful! Just as described. The 2nd and 3rd floor outside decks were really nice to enjoy our favorite beverages and take in the view of the mesmerizing San Felipe area. We are all dirt bike enthusiasts so the dunes outside the home rocked! Your property manager, was it Arturo? He was extremely helpful during our stay. He answered all of our questions and even drove with me to find a place I needed to find. Bottom line, for the money, there?s not a better four bedroom place to be had. Thank you - Rex Cameron

We went on a trip just for the weekend and it was wonderful. Casa Monterey is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a vacation. It felt like our home away from home. Clean, new, and fully equipped. The beach is really nice and clean also isn't that far it's a nice walk to get to now the area. I definitely would recommend to vacation at Casa Monterey.
